I decided to go back to being natural in January, 2011 when I stopped getting relaxers because my hair refused to grow and just seemed unhealthy. This was the best decision of my hair life. I did the big chop in July, 2011 and my hair has since grown past where it was in the last 10 years and also is more healthy and thick. I often ask myself not why did I return to natural, but what took me so long.
