When it comes to my hair I get bored quickly and want to try new styles. If I find something I like, I don’t wait long before I try it. I lucked out because I was 7 months overdue for my next perm so I had a good amount of new growth. I had already made up my mind that this was going to happen so I grabbed the first pair of scissors I could find and did my Big Chop by myself in my bathroom.
My natural hair journey has been such an adventure and lesson in self-love. It’s been pretty easy, but has also had its harder moments. A little harder now that my hair is longer and requires more time and care but well worth it!
The natural hair community has also been truly AMAZING!! I have met so many wonderful people who have been there to answer my questions, give advice, and offer support through this journey. It has definitely motivated me to pay it forward and help anyone that’s on their natural journey as well.
